Sports cars with high mileage are rare, as they are seldom used and their parts wear out faster with active driving.
However, there are exceptions. We wrote to you about a Lamborghini Murcielago with 500,000 km mileage, and now a Chevrolet Corvette, which has traveled about the same, has been discovered. To be precise, the 1998 Chevrolet Corvette coupe has already covered 483,000 km (300,000 miles). This means it was used almost every day.
But the car is in good condition because it was regularly maintained.
For example, its body was recently repainted, and since it’s plastic, rust is not an issue. Only the bumper and rearview mirror are damaged, and the interior trim is not in the best condition. At 320,000 km, a major overhaul of the 5.7-liter 345-horsepower V8 was done. The only problem it encountered was a leaking radiator.
The sports car is equipped with a Borla exhaust system and wide tires. The price for the Chevrolet Corvette is pleasantly surprising—only $3,500.
