by In Mexico, an armored Tesla Model X crossover was presented. The Tesla electric car was modified at the local studio Centur Security. 
The Tesla Model X electric car was protected with steel plates and Neoflex composite material, and bulletproof glass was installed. Now the Tesla crossover withstands 9 mm and 44 Magnum caliber bullets. 
The armor increased the mass of the Tesla Model X by 250 kg, which worsened the characteristics of the electric car by about 3-5%.
The cost of converting the crossover into an armored vehicle is $45,000 (not including the price of the electric car itself). All work is completed in three months.
