In Geneva, Switzerland, a four-seater hypercar Koenigsegg Gemera is up for sale. More precisely, they are selling not the car itself, but a place in line for it.
The fact is that the new Koenigsegg Gemera will only start selling in 2021 and just 300 cars will be produced. Almost all of them are already sold out, despite the price of 1.7 million euros. Now clever dealers are selling their reservations and asking for an additional 1.4 million euros for a place in line.
Although, of course, the car is very unconventional. It’s enough that it’s equipped with a two-liter petrol turbo engine. Of course, there are also a couple of electric motors, and their total power is 1724 hp. Moreover, it has an unusual 1-speed gearbox with a hydraulic clutch.
The Koenigsegg Gemera not only accelerates to 100 km/h in 1.9 seconds and can reach 400 km/h but also travels 50 km on electric power.
Among other features of the car are huge gullwing doors and a dashboard that rotates with the steering wheel.
