What the Dream Job for a True Car Enthusiast Looks Like

The British company HushHush offers all interested motorists a dream job. On its website, a job vacancy for a “supercar hunter” in the United Arab Emirates is posted. What the Dream Job for a True Car Enthusiast Looks Like

As you know, abandoned supercars in the UAE are not uncommon. And we’re not just talking about wrecked cars in Dubai scrapyards, but also about cars in excellent condition. Often, cars are abandoned by bankrupt Arab millionaires who leave the country.

This may seem strange, but bankruptcy and unpaid debts in the UAE are criminal offenses. The supercar hunter must find abandoned cars before the authorities do and buy them out. Then the cars are transported to HushHush’s warehouse, put in order, and resold. The candidate for the vacancy must be over 21 years old, have a driver’s license, and, of course, be knowledgeable about supercars. The salary is £30,000 ($37,000) a year, plus a percentage of the supercar resale.

Accommodation in Dubai is also paid for.
