This is because Americans prefer not to bother with repairs and restoring cars after accidents. Firstly, it’s easier for them to get a payout from the insurance and buy a new car.
Secondly, restoring a car in America is significantly more expensive than it is here. And it’s not about the cost of body parts and spare parts, but the high cost of labor. In Ukraine, as is known, the business of importing and selling cars from the States has flourished in recent years, often first taking them to Georgia, repairing them there, and then to Ukraine.
