In the world of the automotive industry, there have always been clones, copies, and just very similar cars. But we have selected a few models that are completely different in class and drastically different in price, yet outwardly resemble budget cars or, conversely, luxurious and expensive ones.
Similar cars, but so different – this is the reality of modern car design, where every manufacturer is looking at each other. And that’s okay.
Aston Martin DBX and Ford Puma 2020
As TopGir has already written, the first Aston Martin crossovers appeared in Ukraine.
And their owners might be interested to learn about the similarity of a 7-million-hryvnia car with the new Ford Puma for 600 thousand hryvnias in the top.
Of course, not identical twins, but the ’roundness’ clearly unites these two completely different crossovers.
Lamborghini Urus and Hyundai Tucson 2021
Recently, the first photos of the Hyundai Tucson 2021 model year appeared, and at the same time, we immediately saw features of the 10-million-hryvnia Lamborghini crossover in it. How much the new Tucson will cost is still unknown, but definitely about ten times cheaper. Also, the new Hyundai reveals shared traits with the Lexus UX.
Ford Mondeo and Aston Martin
The American Ford Fusion (known to us as Mondeo) from the front is very reminiscent of Aston Martin sports cars. And, by the way, this applies not only to the latest generations of Fords.
Renault Arkana and BMW X4
As our video review of Renault Arkana already mentioned, this crossover, which was set up for production at the Zaporozhye automobile plant, in its design features, resembles either the BMW X4 or BMW X6.
Or maybe it’s a mix with the Mercedes GLC. What can you say – coupe crossovers in any case look similar to each other.
BMW 2-series Active Tourer and Kia Carens
The price difference between these cars is quite significant, but in our opinion, Kia looks quite good for its class and price, while BMW, for its cost, looks ugly. Or not?
