Exclusive Aston Martin Vanquish Shooting Brake Concept
Design studio Callum has unveiled a unique concept, transforming the 2001 Aston Martin Vanquish into an elegant Shooting Brake. The car features a panoramic glass roof, custom wheels, and an updated braking system. Under the hood lies an upgraded 6.0-liter V12 producing 580 horsepower, complemented by a stiffer suspension for improved handling.
Ian Callum, former Jaguar Land Rover designer, introduced a number of changes to the car’s exterior: new LED headlights, an updated radiator grille, and an aggressive hood. The rear received a signature Shooting Brake silhouette, smoked tail lights, and a diffuser. However, as the project’s author notes, realization depends on the interest of potential buyers.
For now, this concept is merely a pipe dream. Callum is ready to build such a car if an investor willing to fund the project is found.
Similar exclusive projects become objects of desire for collectors due to the combination of rare design, power, and high-quality materials. The updated Vanquish retains its Gran Turismo characteristics but becomes more modern and technological. It is worth noting that the Shooting Brake market remains niche, but it is precisely such models that often become iconic over time.
