China becomes the world’s largest car exporter for the first time in history

According to the results of 2023, China exported 4.91 million cars (according to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the PRC)! The role played by Russia cannot be underestimated, where almost every second new car has Chinese roots. And if not a foreign-made car, then (as they say in Russia) a ‘domestic car’ produced under a Russian brand, but entirely from Chinese components.

But it’s not just the Russian market, as Ukrainians have also contributed – the demand for Chinese cars (especially, mostly electric ones) in our country increased significantly in 2023. Is it worth voting with your wallet for China, which cooperates with Russia and practically remains silent (at best) about Ukraine?

Anyway, for the first time ever, China has surpassed Japan, winning the title of the world’s largest car exporter. Furthermore, China has produced a total of 30 million new cars!
