by In China, a clone of the Chevrolet Corvette was introduced. And not just any Corvette, but the model of the very first generation. 
Meet Songsam Motors SS Dolphin. Externally, it mimics the 1958 Chevrolet Corvette, and the creators do not hide that they copied the American classic. 
The long hood, four round headlights, and chrome grille – all these are classic features of the 50’s Corvette.
You can even choose a removable hardtop like the American sports car. Interestingly, the copy is even larger than the original – 4.8 m in length and 1.85 m in width. 
However, the interior looks modern. There is a virtual dashboard, a touchscreen, and modern seats. The equipment includes ABS, climate control, and an electromechanical parking brake.
And you won’t find a V8 under the hood – a hybrid unit consisting of a 1.5-liter petrol turbo four and an electric motor is installed. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes 4.9 s.
