An electric supercar Farnova Othello was presented in China. Only 200 of these cars, costing $288,000, will be produced.
Apparently, the developers like Shakespeare. How else to explain the name of the supercar after Othello? Interestingly, the creators of the electric car do not have much experience in making powerful cars. Previously, they built electric buses and even yachts.
Nevertheless, it turned out pretty well. The Farnova Othello has four motors with a total power of 1835 hp. It can accelerate to a hundred in 1.8 s and to 300 km/h in 8.5 s. The maximum speed is 420 km/h.
If the features are confirmed, the Chinese electric supercar will be faster than the Tesla Roadster and Rimac Nevera. The declared range is 600 km, although it is hard to imagine achieving this with a 75 kWh battery.
The streamlined Farnova Othello reaches 4670 mm in length, 2080 mm in width, and 1145 mm in height. The supercar weighs 1350 kg. The coupe also features active aerodynamics – an adjustable rear wing and an aero brake on the roof. The interior is quite modest, but it has Recaro seats.
