Exclusive Car Inspired by Retro Games
Rolls-Royce has introduced a unique Bespoke model, created under the influence of classic gaming culture. This car features pixel graphic elements, neon details, and hidden ‘Easter eggs’ throughout the body. It was developed for a technology entrepreneur who is passionate about nostalgia for early arcade games.
Rejection of Restraint in Design
If Rolls-Royce was previously associated with ‘unobtrusive luxury’, now this brand has completely abandoned any restraint. This Black Badge Ghost model is inspired by the golden era of 8-bit games and visually conveys the chaotic aesthetics of arcade machines and the neon glow of 1980s gaming halls.
Exploration of Gaming Culture
The creation of the car began with a month-long study of the gaming industry of the late 1970s and early 1980s. Designers studied archives of early consoles, advertising materials, and pixel graphics. The result is a car that not only pays tribute to gaming culture but also transforms into a kind of quest to find hidden details.
Exterior Features
The model, named Ghost Gamer, features a two-tone paint job of Salamanca Blue and Crystal on a diamond-black base, reminiscent of classic arcade machines. The hand-painted bodywork includes an image of the ‘Chicago Alien’ – a character created from 89 pixels in the form of 3-millimeter blocks. Next to the alien on both sides of the car is a small graphic of an 8-bit explosion.
Interior with Gaming Elements
The car’s interior is also imbued with an arcade atmosphere. The black and Casden Tan seat upholstery features ‘Player 1-4’ embroideries in electric colors, mimicking the flicker of monitors. The headrests are adorned with pixel images of the Chicago Alien.
The central element of the interior is the waterfall panel, which manually depicts a lunar battle with two stainless steel UFOs hovering over an air-bronze starry sky.
Unique Technologies and Details
The car’s ceiling is equipped with a Starlight Headliner system with 80 manually placed bitmap spaceships. The ‘Shooting Star’ function was reprogrammed to mimic laser shots flying through the cabin. The door sills feature plates with the inscriptions ‘PRESS START’ and ‘INSERT COIN’, which light up when the doors are opened.

Target Buyer
Unsurprisingly, this unique Rolls-Royce is intended for a technology entrepreneur who values creativity and individuality. This project demonstrates how flexible the brand can be in creating exclusive cars that combine classic luxury with modern cultural trends.
Similar projects could become an impetus for other luxury car manufacturers who are also beginning to experiment with non-standard themes. Custom orders are becoming increasingly popular among clients who wish to emphasize their uniqueness through their car. Rolls-Royce continues to prove that luxury can be not only elegant but also creative.
