by In Zakarpattia, a drunk driver almost crashed into a Patrol Police car. He explained his drunken state as being due to the coronavirus epidemic. 
The incident occurred on the Kyiv-Chop highway near Chynadiyevo. According to the Patrol Police of Zakarpattia, the VAZ almost hit oncoming cars during an overtaking maneuver, one of which was a police Mitsubishi Outlander. When the violator was chased down and stopped, it was discovered he was drunk.
He admitted himself that he drank because of the coronavirus, yet refused to take an alcohol test. A protocol for violation under Article 130 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses was drawn up against the offender.
