Irina Fedishin had the headlights stolen from her Porsche Cayenne. In case you’re not aware, she is a Ukrainian singer known to many Ukrainians primarily through billboard advertisements. But that’s not the point – her car was stripped right in front of her house.

Let’s note, recently we published a video showing how a sly thief in Kyiv removed headlights from a Porsche in 15 seconds! A few days ago, Irina Fedishin posted on Facebook how not only the headlights but also the mirrors were removed from her Porsche.

The reason for such theft is quite simple and easily explained – the front lighting of Porsche Cayenne and VW Touareg (as well as Porsche Panamera) can be removed very easily. Of course, this is convenient for auto service employees, but car thieves are well aware of this too. Just as they know that Porsche headlights can be easily sold for 32-35 thousand hryvnias, and for Cayenne models older than 2017, prices can exceed 50-60 thousand hryvnias per set.
It should be noted, the “epidemic” of Porsche headlight theft is relevant not only in Ukraine. Moreover, it started in Europe, specifically in the Netherlands. Initially, they were stolen not so much for sale as for “weed,” because their bright light output is best suited for cultivating it at home.
