In the USA, abandoned supercars Lamborghini Countach and Ferrari 308 were found. For the last 20 years, they have been neglected in the garage of a retiree’s home. This was reported by Focus. The 80s supercars were accidentally found by the retiree’s grandson. Once he visited his grandmother and decided to look into the garage, which had not been opened for a long time. Under piles of old clothes and other junk, he found Ferrari 308 and Lamborghini Countach. It is worth noting that the retiree’s son-in-law owned a supercar rental company. After its bankruptcy in the early 2000s, he sold off most of the cars, but left these two behind. Soon after his passing, the cars remained in the garage. The condition of the supercars leaves much to be desired and they are unable to move on their own, and the Lamborghini lacks a steering wheel. However, they will now be restored, as they are valuable collectible models. For example, the price of the 1981 Lamborghini Countach reaches $500,000. This is the LP500S version with a 4.8-liter V12 engine producing 380 hp, capable of accelerating to 100 km/h in 5.7 seconds and reaching a top speed of 293 km/h. The Ferrari 308 is significantly cheaper – it costs around $80,000. While the year of manufacture and model version are not established, it is known that such supercars were equipped with a 3.0-liter V8 engine producing between 205 and 255 horsepower.
