Lamborghini created the Urus for high society, and Brabus adapted it for their personal consultants

The Brabus atelier, known for its modifications of Mercedes cars, has presented its first projects based on the Lamborghini Urus SE SUV. The company has developed two versions: the Brabus 900 Mint and the Brabus 900 Superblack. Both models have received significant changes in appearance, interior, and, most importantly, in the powertrain.

Visual and Technical Updates

The stylistic changes, by Brabus standards, can be called restrained. Each SUV received a new front spoiler, updated air intake trims, widened wheel arches, a more massive rear spoiler, and a new diffuser with four exhaust pipes. On the Superblack version, these elements are made of visible carbon fiber, while the Mint received parts painted in the body color.

The cars are fitted with 24-inch forged Monoblock Z Platinum Edition wheels. The suspension is modified using the SportXtra module, which lowers the ground clearance by 20 mm, improving stability and appearance.

Interior and Powertrain

The interior of both models has been completely refitted under the Brabus Masterpiece program. A large amount of perforated and quilted leather, Alcantara inserts, as well as aluminum and carbon fiber parts are used. The interior color scheme fully matches the car’s exterior appearance.

The hybrid powertrain has been significantly enhanced. Thanks to the PowerXtra LG40-900 tuning package for the bi-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine, the total power increased from the base 789 hp to 888 hp, and the torque — from 950 Nm to 1050 Nm. The electric motor remained unchanged.

Dynamics and Cost

The power increase allowed for a slight improvement in acceleration. Both versions accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds, which is 0.2 seconds faster than the standard Urus SE. The top speed remained at 312 km/h.

Exclusivity has its price. The Brabus 900 Superblack costs from 544,098 euros, and the Mint version — from 583,071 euros. These are significantly higher than the series-produced Urus SE, but still lower than offers from competitors such as the Mansory Venatus.

The presentation of both cars took place publicly at the FAT Ice Race event in Zell am See, and Brabus also published official video materials featuring these models.

These projects clearly demonstrate how Brabus adapts its approach to the premium segment, where even such powerful and expensive cars as the Lamborghini Urus are considered a basis for further refinement. Increased power and individuality of styling remain key values for the atelier’s clients, regardless of the base car’s brand. At the same time, despite the radical changes, Brabus engineers preserved the factory characteristics of the hybrid system, which may indicate caution when working with new complex technologies.
