The famous 1929 Bentley Speed Six has been given new life. The sports car has been revived and will be produced in a limited series of 12 cars priced at $1.84 million.

The modern Bentley Speed Six Continuation Series reproduces the original 93-year-old model down to the smallest details. Experts at the Mulliner workshop assemble the cars by hand using 1920s technology.

The racing version of the Bentley Speed Six was used as a basis – this is the car that won the 24-hour races at Le Mans in 1929 and 1930. The car, weighing 2.2 tons, is equipped with a 6.5-liter carbureted inline-six engine with 200 hp and reaches a speed of 200 km/h.

Interestingly, this is not the first revived classic Bentley. A modern version of the equally legendary 1929 Blower model was recently released.
