Mahindra, in collaboration with Warner Bros, has introduced a limited series of the BE 6 electric crossover dedicated to the Batman universe. The car received numerous design elements that reference Christopher Nolan’s iconic trilogy.
This collaboration became the second for Mahindra after working with Pininfarina, but unlike previous exclusive models, the Batman Edition remains a relatively affordable option.
Design Details
Externally, the car is finished in matte black with glossy accents. The doors feature a large sticker with the bat symbol, and the front fenders have golden emblems. Additional Batman-style details can be seen on the wheel rims, bumper, and glass.
“We wanted to create something so personal, so impressive, that owning it feels like owning a piece of movie history,” noted Pratap Bose, Creative Director of Mahindra.
Technical Features
The special version is based on the most powerful modification of the BE 6 with a 282 hp engine and a 79 kWh battery, providing a range of 550 km. The manufacturer even added unique sound effects inspired by the Batman universe.
The first deliveries to customers will begin on September 20th – International Batman Day. With such a date, the manufacturer clearly expects that buyers will be able to fully feel like part of the DC Comics universe.
Interestingly, despite its exclusivity, the car remains one of the most affordable ways to feel like Bruce Wayne – its price is only $1000 higher than the standard version. The limited run of 300 units will likely quickly find its fans among comic and movie enthusiasts.
