Jeep introduces a special version of the Wrangler for the 250th anniversary of the USA
Jeep, recognized as the most patriotic brand in America for 25 consecutive years, has decided to celebrate the country’s 250th anniversary by releasing a special version of the SUV. This is another model within the “Twelve 4 Twelve” campaign, and this time Jeep has teamed up with Marvel and Captain America.
Both brands were born in 1941 and share a “heritage of courage, adventure, freedom, and service.” This made them natural partners, leading to the creation of the 2026 Jeep Wrangler America250 Edition.
Exterior design and features
Jeep has not revealed many details about the vehicle itself, but it is finished in red, white, and blue colors. The SUV features graphics on the hood and side panels, as well as America250 badges. These are complemented by a flag decal and a limited-edition spare tire cover inspired by Captain America’s shield. Blue wheel rims fitted with massive BFGoodrich tires are also noticeable.
Interior and equipment
The interior features blue seats similar to those used in the Wrangler Rockslide version. However, on the A250 model, they feature America250 logos, as well as white and red contrast stitching. The latter can also be seen on the steering wheel, dashboard, gear shift lever, and transfer case lever.
Other highlights include red seat belts and an America250 key fob. A familiar cluster display and a 12.3-inch Uconnect 5 infotainment system, which may have a special splash screen, are also installed.
Jeep and Marvel collaboration
In addition to working together on the Wrangler A250, Jeep and Marvel have created an “original illustrated limited-edition cover for a reissued comic book.” It is included with each special edition and depicts a Jeep alongside Captain America.
The companies have also joined forces to create a 50-second video called “Origin Story,” which will be actively promoted on social media. Later this year, Jeep and Marvel will launch a joint marketing campaign to support the release of the film “Avengers: Doomsday,” scheduled to premiere on December 18.
Honoring veterans
In addition to fictional superheroes, the automaker will honor American military veterans. As part of this initiative, the off-road brand will share stories of people who relied on Jeeps to complete their missions and return home. Unfortunately, their ranks are dwindling every day.
This special edition Wrangler is not just a tribute to US history, but also a powerful marketing move combining patriotism, pop culture, and social responsibility. The collaboration with Marvel allows Jeep to attract a younger audience, while the focus on veterans strengthens the brand’s image as one that cares about real heroes. Given that the premiere of “Avengers” is scheduled for the end of the year, the campaign has every chance of becoming one of the most notable in the automotive industry.
