The new McLaren Artura has been unveiled. The hybrid McLaren supercar has come to replace the popular 570S model in Ukraine and will go on sale in the third quarter of this year with prices starting from $225,000.
The mid-engine McLaren Artura retains a familiar design with the cabin moved forward and slim headlights. Large air intakes have appeared on the sides, and the doors, of course, open upwards. The car is built on a next-generation carbon monocoque, so even with the hybrid setup, the weight is relatively low – 1395 kg.

The interior of the Artura is also executed in the familiar McLaren style. The coupe has received a new generation of virtual instruments and a branded tablet touchscreen.
The hybrid powertrain consists of a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 with 585 horsepower and a 95 hp electric motor. A total of 680 hp is quite enough to accelerate to 100 km/h in 3 seconds and to 200 km/h in 8.3 seconds. The top speed is 330 km/h.

Moreover, up to 30 km can be covered in a fully electric mode. Battery charging takes 2.5 hours.
The McLaren Artura also features an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. Interestingly, it does not have a conventional reverse gear – instead, the electric motor switches to reverse, as in electric cars.

Ceramic brakes enable stopping from 100 km/h within 31 m. All McLaren Artura models are also equipped with adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and a road sign recognition feature.
