The new electric car from AMG is named EQE 53 4Matic+ and will compete with the top modifications of electric Porsche Taycan and Tesla Model S Plaid. The Mercedes-AMG EQE has two electric motors – one on each axle. The most powerful version with the optional AMG Dynamic Plus Package delivers almost 700 horsepower, to be precise – 687 hp and 1000 Nm of torque.

In maximum power mode, the car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds (without the package – 3.5 s), and its top speed is 240 km/h. The AMG version of the “electric car” has a refined suspension, lower ground clearance, and stiffer springs and dampers with sporty settings. Moreover, the Mercedes-AMG EQE is equipped with all-wheel steering with rear turning wheels.

The electric car provides a low power mode to increase range, with performance limited to 313 hp. Depending on the driving style, the 90.6 kWh battery pack offers an autonomous range varying from 462 to 533 kilometers. Recharging to gain 180 km takes only 15 minutes.

The novelty can be identified by different bumpers and a black grille with vertical slats, a front splitter, modified air vents, side skirts, a diffuser, a trunk lid spoiler, and 22-inch wheels. Inside, there are signature AMG features such as sports seats, a steering wheel, and red accents. A hyper screen (optional) and MBUX system are also available.
You can buy the Mercedes EQE 53 4Matic+ this year, but the price of the high-performance electric car has not been disclosed yet.
