by The Association “Ukrautoprom” published an interesting ranking dedicated to the trendiest car colors in Ukraine for the first half of 2018. By the way, during this period, almost 40,000 new cars were sold. Can you guess what shade most of them were?
The trendiest car color is white. As before, many Ukrainians (and Europeans in general) prefer this shade. If we talk about cars, the most popular snow-white model in the first 6 months was the Renault Duster (659 units). In our view, this is because the car is often bought by agricultural and other companies for corporate purposes. In such cases, they most often choose the basic versions painted in “simple” colors that do not require an extra charge.
In second place by popularity is gray. The leader among 50 shades of gray is the Audi A3 (374 cars). Most likely, it was in this color that diesel Audi A3s were brought to us on discount, although cars of this brand are often chosen in metallic gray.
Rounding out the top three is black (16%). And, as you might have guessed, this color is most popular among fans of the Toyota Camry (650 units). The big black sedan is still in trend.
