A 1985 Mercedes-Benz 300D Turbo sedan with just over 18,000 miles (about 29,000 km) is being sold at auction. The current bid has reached $35,000. The car has been preserved in nearly original condition and comes with a complete set of documents and service history. This is reported by “Bring a Trailer”.

The car was sold new in Massachusetts and over more than 40 years has traveled only about 29,000 km. In 2025, it was purchased from a specialized dealer of diesel Mercedes-Benz vehicles, and already in 2026, the car ended up with a seller who put it up for auction.
The body is painted in Smoke Silver Metallic, the interior is finished in black MB-Tex. Equipment includes a sunroof, fog lights, an electric antenna, and Zebrano wood decorative elements. The seller noted minor paintwork defects.

The sedan is equipped with a 3.0-liter turbocharged diesel inline five-cylinder engine producing 123 hp and 249 Nm of torque. It is paired with a four-speed automatic transmission driving the rear wheels.
Among the equipment listed are also cruise control, automatic climate control, power windows, and a Becker Grand Prix cassette stereo. The car sits on 14-inch Fuchs alloy wheels with Toyo tires, and braking is provided by disc brakes on all wheels.

The package includes original brochures, service records, the new car price sticker ($31,940 or about 1.25 million UAH at the current exchange rate), as well as a spare set of wheels with 1985 Continental tires.
According to the Carfax report, the car has no recorded accidents and was previously registered in several US states.
