German tuning atelier MTM, known for its bold modifications of the Audi RS6, has presented a new project called Pangaea GT. This unique car is limited to just 25 units worldwide, making it a true collector’s rarity.
Power and Speed
The heart of the Pangaea GT is a significantly modified 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine that now delivers an impressive 1100 horsepower and 1200 Nm of torque. For comparison, the standard Audi RS6 has only 621 hp and 627 Nm of torque.
This monstrous power increase allows the Pangaea GT to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.6 seconds and reach a top speed of over 350 km/h.
Such performance places it on par with supercars, despite being a family station wagon.
Exterior and Aerodynamics
The car’s exterior has been completely redesigned. It features a lightweight carbon fiber body kit that gives the RS6 an aggressive look, similar to race models from DTM tournaments.
The car received widened wheel arches front and rear, carbon fiber side skirts, and extended spoilers. It sits on custom 22-inch wheels with center locks, completing the transformation from a comfortable family car into a true track monster.
Design Details
MTM also replaced the front bumper and radiator grille, adding a custom hood and roof with a stylish window. The rear of the car received a massive diffuser and a new exhaust system. The first unit, number 00/25, is finished in a dark matte green color, adding even more individuality.
Interior and Comfort
The Pangaea GT’s interior matches the exterior in terms of driving excitement. It features carbon fiber bucket seats not only for the driver and front passenger but also for the second-row passengers, ensuring secure positioning during high-speed maneuvers.
The interior is upholstered in leather, Alcantara, and adorned with contrasting stitching, creating an atmosphere inspired by motorsport.
Price and Availability
The official price of the Pangaea GT has not yet been announced, but it is expected to potentially exceed the cost of several standard Audi RS6 models. Despite this, the limited run of 25 cars will likely quickly find buyers among collectors and enthusiasts of powerful station wagons.
