by An unusual guest has appeared on Ukrainian roads – the LEVC TX, a modern version of the famous London taxi. The car with the recognizable design of a black cab was recently spotted in Kyiv.
The LEVC TX is a development of the British company London Electric Vehicle Company, which is now owned by the Chinese auto giant Geely. The car is created specifically for taxi transportation, but is equipped with modern technologies – this is not just a retro car, but a new generation hybrid.
Technical specifications of the LEVC TX:
- Engine: 1.5-liter petrol I3, which works as part of a plug-in hybrid system;
- Total power: 150 hp and 250 Nm of torque;
- Maximum speed: 128 km/h;
- Acceleration 0-100 km/h: 13.2 seconds;
- Range (NEDC): up to 607 km, of which up to 130 km – on electric power.
The car is built taking into account the needs of drivers and passengers: it has a spacious interior, a wide entrance, adaptation for people with disabilities, and an extremely small turning radius – only 8.5 meters.
