by 621 thousand euros plus 30 thousand euros for the exhaust – this is the cost of this Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster, which can be considered the most expensive Lambo in Ukraine. However, it (and a few other luxury and supercars) fell victim to an international fraud scheme and the legalization (laundering) of property obtained through criminal means. 
Given the fact that the SVJ Roadster is the only one in Ukraine (and one of 800 in the world), there is no doubt that it is featured in the video of the Office of the Prosecutor General. You can watch the video on our Telegram channel. 
As the Office of the Prosecutor General writes, “the criminal activities of an organized group of citizens of Ukraine and other countries, who from 2017 to 2020 implemented a fraudulent scheme to embezzle funds from individuals under the guise of attracting investments through specially created web resources, have been documented.”
According to the scheme, citizens were offered to earn money by conducting transactions for the purchase and sale of various assets: banking metals, foreign currency, cryptocurrency, securities, and so on.
To mislead investors, transactions were simulated using the websites’ program interface, showing fictitious growth of 100 times or more in profits from invested funds. 
When depositors applied to withdraw profits in cash, employees of specially created call centers called them, demanded a service fee and commission for cashing out – an additional 15% of the amount received. After payment, investors’ accounts were blocked, and the funds placed on them were appropriated. The investors’ funds were credited to accounts of a number of companies controlled by fraudsters in the United Kingdom, Hungary, Czech Republic, Estonia, and other countries for subsequent legalization. 
During the searches at the residences and places of criminal activities of the subjects, money equivalent to 1 million dollars, rough notes, documentation, and computer equipment were discovered and seized.
As part of the criminal production, arrests were imposed on cars, apartments, a house, and other real estate with an estimated value of about 50 million euros. Besides the aforementioned Lamborghini, two Rolls-Royces, a Mercedes-Maybach, a BMW Z8, and other luxury cars were also seized. 
It should be noted that the only Aventador SVJ Roadster in our country is not cleared and is registered in Europe (Czech). When it was first written about in TopGir, we received a complaint regarding the cost; as it turned out, our editor inadvertently underestimated the cost, which apparently somewhat upset its buyer, and he sent us a letter:
After this publication, it’s probably worth waiting for a new letter… Also, it should be reminded that just three days ago this Lamborghini was filmed with a cortege in Kyiv, but for unknown reasons, the video was deleted.
