Pagani conquers the skies: luxury interiors for airplanes and helicopters
Pagani, known for the supercar Zonda, has been an icon in the automotive world for over 25 years. Having achieved success, the Italian manufacturer expanded its operations, and one of its directions reaches far beyond the clouds.
This is not about creating its own aircraft, as Honda does. Through its lifestyle division Pagani Arte, the company creates custom interiors for helicopters, private jets, and wide-body aircraft. If you like the look and feel of high-quality Italian leather in a car, Pagani can add it to your airplane as well.
Exhibition in São Paulo and first steps in aviation
The company showcases its work this week at the Catarina Aviation Show in São Paulo, presenting its achievements in aviation to an audience that can afford such luxury.
One of Pagani’s first steps into the world of aviation was a partnership with Airbus in 2017 to create the ACJ319 neo Infinito. This aircraft is equipped with a high-quality curved screen on the ceiling that broadcasts real-time sky views, creating the effect of a massive skylight. The work with Airbus will be presented in São Paulo, as will interiors designed for individual Gulfstream G650ER aircraft.
Mastery of materials and unique solutions
Thanks to its experience with the most prestigious materials, Pagani can shape the cabin space according to client wishes. The company is capable not only of upholstering large interior surfaces with the finest leather but also of adding carbon fiber elements to the interior of a private jet or helicopter.
The event also features one of Pagani’s best road cars—the track-focused hypercar Huayra R. Although it has little in common with a private jet, Pagani notes that, like an aircraft, “every line of this car is sculpted to cut through the air.” According to the company, this is an excellent opportunity to showcase one of its cars to wealthy businessmen looking for an airplane.
Thus, Pagani is not just expanding its brand but also creating a unique space for clients who appreciate luxury not only on the ground but also in the sky. The integration of automotive technology and design into aviation opens new horizons for personalization, where every element, from leather upholstery to carbon fiber inserts, underscores the owner’s status and taste. This shows that modern luxury knows no boundaries, and brands that once specialized in one thing are now able to offer a holistic experience that spans different areas of life.
