by The site CarPrice conducted a study on the reliability of Chinese cars and obtained very unexpected results. It turns out that used cars from China are not as problematic as thought to be. 
As part of the study, 800 cars aged 2-4 years were checked. They were conditionally divided into three price categories: $7-10k, $10-22k, and over $22k. The vehicles were assessed based on 600 different parameters.
In the end, it turned out that Chinese cars are more reliable than many Japanese and European models. In the overall rating, they scored 12.37 points out of 20 possible, while the average result among all brands was 11.7 points. In particular, the quality of the bodywork was rated 4.14 points out of 5, with an average score of 3.63 points. The interior scored 4.21 points (average – 4.42), although more expensive cars from China earned 5 points. The technical equipment received 4.59 points (average – 4.7).
