If you remember, 5 years ago we wrote about Japanese tuning Lada-2101. Japanese are generally “fine” people – they buy UAZs for 40 thousand, or invest thousands of dollars in the restoration of Soviet cars. And just the other day in Japan a “kopeck” was put up for sale for an incredible 20 thousand dollars.
Few people know, but in the land of the rising sun, there are even specialized Lada and UAZ stores! This specimen, as stated in the advertisement, is from 1972, has a left-hand drive, and since arriving in Japan, it has never changed owners.
It is unknown in what form it ended up in Japan and where it was restored, but according to the seller, the car is in excellent condition.
And did you know about the mysterious scheme of importing vintage cars from the US to Ukraine?
