Exclusive Set of GT-R Scale Models
Takara Tomy has introduced a new exclusive set of scale models in the Tomica Premium line. The set includes four generations of the iconic Nissan GT-R car in 1:62 scale, as well as a detailed miniature garage for their display.
The set includes the following models:
Collection Details and Pricing
The collection belongs to the Tomica Premium line, which features special wheel design and sharper casting compared to the standard series. This set can be viewed as a kind of chronological timeline of GT-R history. Its cost is 4950 yen (approximately 32 dollars).

The Nismo GT-R Z-Tune Prototype model is also available separately for 1210 yen (about 8 dollars). This offer may be of particular interest to fans of the R34 generation.
If you want to purchase the GT-R collection and don’t know where to place them, Takara Tomy has the perfect miniature garage for this role.
Miniature Garage with Functionality
For the new collection, a special miniature garage is offered in two variations: Silver White and Premium Black. The cost of each is 6270 yen (approximately 41 dollars). The garage is designed for four 1:62 scale models and is equipped with functional lighting and automatic doors that open with a button. Owners can also personalize the space by changing wall and floor sets.
Other Offers from Takara Tomy
The company has also introduced other interesting sets. Among them is the Dream Tomica Initial D Special Set, inspired by the popular anime series. It includes five cars: Toyota AE86 Sprinter Trueno, Nissan Silvia S13, Mazda RX-7 FC and FD, as well as Toyota MR2 SW20. The cost of this set is also 4950 yen.
Furthermore, at the Osaka Auto Messe 2026 exhibition, separate scale models were presented, such as a yellow Toyota GR Corolla for 880 yen (about 6 dollars) and a racing Toyota GR86 with Tomica Netz Hyogo BS livery for 990 yen (about 6 dollars).
Such collectible sets demonstrate that the demand for detailed scale models remains high among car enthusiasts. They offer an affordable alternative for those who appreciate automotive history and design but do not have the opportunity to own real cars. The offer of miniature garages with functional elements expands the possibilities for creative display of the collection, turning it into an interactive interior element.
