In the world of scooters, few brands can match Vespa in terms of recognition. The Italian company has been creating some of the most stylish motor scooters for decades, so it is no surprise that celebrities have taken notice of such a base. In 2022, Justin Bieber joined the process, preparing a special modification of the Sprint Sport 150 model together with the brand.
Restrained white design with character
Most people imagine a Vespa primarily in bright red, but the version created with Bieber’s involvement stands out with a calmer white shade. True, it did not go without a signature twist: the body features so-called “ghost” flames. They are executed in a delicate manner, but still immediately catch the eye and give the scooter personality.
Price and secondary market
The company does not disclose the exact number of such Vespas produced. Moreover, on the official website the model is still presented as a regular production product. In the US, a new scooter costs from $6,549. However, as often happens, on the secondary market you can find an example in excellent condition. Exactly such a lot appeared at the Bring a Trailer auction: it was sold for $4,800, with mileage of only 84 miles, i.e. approximately 135 kilometers.
This once again confirms that even collaboration models associated with world-famous stars can lose part of their value. For a buyer, this means a good opportunity to get a stylish and rather rare vehicle without overpaying.
Technical component
The white paintwork and decorative flames on the body are the first things that catch the eye. However, the true highlights of this scooter are the 12-inch white wheels and matching white CST tires. They perfectly fit the overall concept and create an old-school atmosphere. White details were also added to the exhaust system and suspension elements.
Since this is still a Vespa, it is hard to expect sports records from it. Under the body is a small single-cylinder engine with a displacement of 155 cubic centimeters. It develops only 12.5 horsepower and 9 lb-ft of torque. That much power is enough to start confidently from a traffic light, but no more. Nevertheless, in a small town or a closed cottage community, such a scooter will definitely not go unnoticed.
Practical impressions
This project is more about mood than technical perfection. White tires, elegant flames and unusual accents make the model special even among other custom Vespas. And the fact that the scooter was barely used only emphasizes its status as a collector’s item.
For brand fans, such a find will be a real pleasure: it is not just a means of transportation, but a small piece of culture created with the participation of one of the most famous pop stars of our time. Of course, this scooter is hardly worth taking on a long trip, but for leisurely rides or short city trips it is ideal.
