New DS Model: A Stylish Crossover That Impresses with Its Design

New DS7: Expected Changes and Possible Technologies

DS Automobiles is preparing an updated version of its DS7 crossover, and for the first time, a prototype of this model was spotted during testing in France. The new model is expected to debut next year and will receive significant design changes compared to the current version.

Design and Technical Features

The front end of the new DS7 has received slim LED headlights with six daytime running lights. Additional vertical LED elements are also noticeable, which will likely be integrated into the bumper. The rear is covered in camouflage, but it can be assumed that the taillights will resemble those installed on the DS N°8.

Our photographers suggest that the new DS7 might be available exclusively in an electric version, although there were earlier rumors about hybrid variants.

If DS chooses the electric path, the model could receive batteries and motors from other Stellantis brands, particularly from the Peugeot E-3008. Possible variants include front-wheel drive (207 hp) or all-wheel drive (316 hp).

Despite the trends towards electrification, the market is not yet ready to completely abandon conventional engines. Therefore, DS may retain classic options to satisfy different groups of buyers. Final decisions will become known after the official presentation.
