The Latest Electric Supercar Shocked with Acceleration Like in Formula-1

Croatian company Rimac has released the electric supercar Nevera. The coupe is the production version of the C_Two concept, presented two years ago. A total of 150 coupes will be produced, each priced at 2 million euros.

The Rimac Nevera electric car impresses with its specifications. Its four electric motors deliver 1914 hp and 2360 N·m, allowing it to accelerate to 100 km/h in just 1.85 seconds – like Formula-1 cars. In 9.3 seconds, the supercar accelerates to 300 km/h, with a top speed of 412 km/h.

The all-wheel-drive coupe features a large 120 kWh battery. The range is 550 km, and it can be recharged up to 80% at a fast-charging station in just 22 minutes. However, due to this battery, the weight has reached 2150 kg – even with a lightweight carbon monocoque.

Although in drag racing it does not hinder – Rimac Nevera literally destroyed the Ferrari SF90 Stradale supercar in a race. It covered a quarter-mile in just 8.6 seconds, which is a record for production cars.

By the way, Rimac is one of the few supercars crashed on camera in a crash test. And let’s not forget that a unique crash test of Nevera’s predecessor was conducted by Richard Hammond.
