by The new Toyota Land Cruiser 2022 was introduced a couple of weeks ago, and it has already received a police version. The first SUVs have already started patrolling the streets of Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
The Dubai police are known for their supercars, so the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 is far from the coolest car in their arsenal. Nevertheless, the speed at which it was adopted into service is impressive.
For comparison, the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 appeared in Ukraine just recently – and the first cars were only spotted on a car transporter in Kyiv, and prices have not yet been announced.
In the UAE, however, the SUV appeared in showrooms on June 20, and at the same time, the first three cars were handed over to the police. The specifications of the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 for the police are unknown, but it is likely the most powerful version with a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 producing 415 hp.
Let’s recall that the new Toyota Land Cruiser 300 retained the frame, transfer case, and differential locks. It became slightly larger, yet lighter by 200 kg. Among the options is interesting equipment such as a fingerprint scanner.
