Demand for the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Has Fallen
Currently, over 1700 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 cars remain unsold on dealer lots due to low demand. Some dealers are offering discounts of up to $10,000, significantly reducing the starting price of this supercar. One reason for this situation is the announcement of the new ZR1 and ZR1X models, which have diverted buyer attention from the Z06.
According to Chevrolet inventory data, there are 3711 C8-series cars on dealer lots in the USA, of which 1714 are Z06s. This is quite unexpected, considering that it was previously difficult to purchase a Z06 due to high demand. Now the situation has changed: most cars are being sold at the recommended price or even at a discount.
Attractive Offers
For example, a black Z06 2LZ at Hendrick Chevrolet Shawnee Mission in Kansas is offered for $132,551 instead of $139,620. Similar discounts are available from other dealers. At George Nunnally Chevrolet in Bonner Springs, you can find an Arctic White Z06 3LZ for $140,907 instead of $155,009.
This is partly because the available models are from the 2024 or 2025 model years, which do not have the updated interior introduced in the 2026 version. However, the main reason is likely the release of the more powerful ZR1 and ZR1X models with engines producing over 1000 hp, which have captured the attention of brand enthusiasts.
Interestingly, just a few years ago the Corvette Z06 was one of the most popular models in its segment. However, with the emergence of new technologies and competitors, the market is changing rapidly, and even such legendary cars can lose their appeal to buyers looking for something newer and more powerful.
