An online presentation of the new generation BMW M5 has taken place. The sports sedan will soon be presented to the public in July at the Goodwood Speed Festival in the UK, and sales will start from November at a price of $120,675. Focus.ua reports about this.

New BMW M5, specifications
The biggest changes were made to the power unit, as the sedan borrowed a hybrid setup from the BMW XM crossover. In the BMW M5 G60, the 4.4-liter V8 twin-turbo and electric motor collectively produce 727 hp and 1000 Nm.
This is the most powerful BMW M5 in history, but not the fastest. The hybrid system has increased the vehicle’s weight to 2445 kg, which has affected its dynamics: acceleration to 100 km/h takes 3.5 s, and to 200 km/h – 10.9 s. The maximum speed can be limited to 250 or 305 km/h.

However, the large 14.8 kWh battery allows for a range of up to 69 km in electric mode. The fuel consumption is 1.7 l/100 km in the combined cycle and 10.3 l/100 km with a depleted battery.
The new BMW M5 2025 retains the 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive with an active rear differential and rear-wheel-drive mode for drifting.

The BMW 5 Series suspension has been almost completely redesigned and augmented with adaptive dampers. It also features steerable rear wheels and increased brakes with 410 mm discs in the front and 398 mm in the rear (carbon-ceramic discs – optional).
BMW M5 2025 design
The BMW M5 G60 sedan was the first to debut, but a wagon will also be available in the lineup. It differs from the standard BMW 5 Series with a new illuminated radiator grille, aggressive bumpers, and flared fenders.

Additionally, it features body kit, rear spoiler, and four exhaust pipes. The car comes with wheels of different sizes with tires 285/40 ZR20 in the front and 295/35 ZR21 in the rear.
BMW M5 G60 interior
The interior of the BMW M5 is adorned with leather and carbon fiber. It has sport steering wheel and seats, and the graphics on the virtual instrument panel and multimedia menu have been updated.
The 2025 BMW M5 comes with an expanded equipment package – featuring a heads-up display, panoramic roof, heated steering wheel, and a powerful Bowers & Wilkins sound system.
