Preliminary prices for the new Moskvich 6 have been announced. The budget liftback of the C-class surprised with its high cost. This was reported by Focus.
The price of the Moskvich 6 will start at around 2.4-2.6 million rubles ($24,000-26,000). In other words, the base version will be more expensive than the new Skoda Octavia, which costs approximately $23,800 in Ukraine.

The top versions will cost 2.7 million rubles ($27,000) for the variant with a manual transmission and around 3.1 million rubles ($31,000) for the version with a CVT.
It is worth noting that the new Moskvich 6 is actually the Chinese JAC Sehol A5 Plus, which, in turn, is a modernized version of the JAC J7. This model is presented in our country and earlier was even tested by TopGear.
Interestingly, the price of the JAC J7 in Ukraine starts at 587,000 hryvnias ($16,000), which makes it one and a half times cheaper than its Moskvich-branded counterpart.

The new Moskvich 6 is 4.77 m long and has a 540-liter trunk. It will be available with 1.5-liter turbo gasoline engines with 136 and 174 hp, but its equipment has not been disclosed yet. For reference: the JAC J7 in Ukraine is equipped with air conditioning, cruise control, a rear-view camera, and a 10.4-inch touchscreen in the base version.
