Journalists from rg.ru visited Moscow Kia dealerships and discovered that the cheapest version of the Kia Sportage 2022 is priced at $76,700 (4,639,900 rubles). Moreover, this is by no means the top version with a 2.0-liter 150-horsepower gasoline engine – for us, prices for a crossover with such an engine start at approximately $25,700.
A better-equipped version with eco-leather in the cabin, power driver’s seat, and surround-view cameras will cost $79,800 in total. Such a price is due to the fact that the new Kia Sportage in Russia is in shortage – at the beginning of the year, the local plant “Avtotor” released a small batch of cars, and subsequently ceased operations due to sanctions. However, Kia Sportage crossovers were only recently released for sale.
Overall, there is nothing strange about such car prices in the rf – under sanctions, even the local Lada Vesta is more expensive than a Toyota Camry.
