New Moskvich 6 Turned Out to Be Not So New Chinese

The new Moskvich 6 has been revealed online. The miracle did not happen – we are once again faced with the Chinese JAC.

This time they copied the JAC Sehol A5 Plus – the updated 2021 version of the JAC J7 liftback, which is sold in Ukraine and was once tested by TopGir.

The JAC Sehol A5 Plus has a refreshed “face”, added body kit and spoiler, and a new steering wheel installed in the cabin. From Moskvich there – only the logos, and it is not excluded that they are also made in China. Under the hood, there is a 1.5-liter 184-horsepower turbo engine.

The price of the Moskvich 6 has not yet been announced, but it will definitely be significantly more expensive than the JAC J7 (in Ukraine it costs from 617,000 UAH). Recall that the Moskvich 3 crossover in Russia turned out to be significantly more expensive than its twin JAC JS4 on the Ukrainian market.

By the way, it recently became known that AvtoVAZ will follow the path of Moskvich and stick Lada badges on the Chinese cars. The first such car is expected to be the FAW Bestune T77 crossover.
