The starting price is 219,800 yuan (approximately $30,730 USD), and the most powerful version delivers 437 kW or 586 horsepower. The demand surprised even the company itself: just seven minutes after sales opened, 10,000 orders were placed.
The car features a new design in the Xmart Face style with thin LED strips and active air intakes. The aerodynamics are also top-notch—the drag coefficient is only 0.201. The interior boasts a modern architecture, and the main technical “highlight” is hidden in the powertrain: an 800-volt platform, ultra-fast charging with a capacity of up to 486 kW, and a range of up to 820 km according to the CLTC cycle.
Compared to other Xpeng models, which gathered thousands of pre-orders over tens of minutes, the P7 has set a new internal sales speed record.
