A new scandal is gaining momentum in Ukraine. About three dozen media outlets deleted news of a high-profile accident involving the deputy from “Servant of the People” Oleksandr Trukhin.

The accident happened on August 23 on the Boryspil highway. The deputy’s Audi A8 failed to maintain a safe distance and crashed into a Ford Kuga at speed, which in turn rammed a Daewoo.
Six people were injured in the accident. One of them turned out to be the former famous Italian football referee, now the head of the UAF referees committee, Luciano Luci. He was hospitalized and underwent surgery.

It is rumored that Oleksandr Trukhin was intoxicated, but there is no official confirmation from the police. Although, in any case, the driver’s fault in the Audi is obvious. He, by the way, tried to escape but was apprehended.

All top mass media outlets reported the sensational incident, but a few days later news about it started disappearing from websites. The removal of the news was reported by the editor-in-chief of the project “Beyond the News” Alyona Romanyuk and journalist and blogger of the project ZupiniLosya Konstantin Andriyuk.

Moreover, the phenomenon turned out to be quite widespread. Then the editor of the site “News Center” Olga Vytak published screenshots of correspondence where unknown persons offered money for the removal of the publication.

Rumor has it that such activity is related to the fact that Oleksandr Trukhin is a member of Volodymyr Zelensky’s delegation during his visit to the USA. However, the Americans have already learned about this and Speaker of the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi hinted that including the deputy in the delegation is “undesirable.”
