The General Director of Ukrposhta, Igor Smelyansky, announced the winning design of the new stamp. As Smelyansky writes in his Telegram channel, almost 834,000 votes from our citizens were considered in selecting the winner, over 340,000 of which chose the next philatelic hit!
For comparison, 8,000 people voted for the previous stamp, i.e., in a couple of months, the number of philately enthusiasts has increased 1,000 times. Regarding the winning theme – during the war, our people have tirelessly supplied the Armed Forces of Ukraine with trophy Russian tanks. And it is precisely this tractor theme that formed the basis of the new stamp design.
According to the head of Ukrposhta, the release of the new stamp is planned for mid-July. As for the circulation, there will be 5 million stamps of 2 denominations or 830,000 sheets of 6 stamps each (which, by the way, matches the number of votes in the competition).
From us, we note that we have patriotic car stickers, including themed TCU and “Good Evening We Are From Ukraine” stickers.
