Glickenhaus 007S is a road version of the sports prototype for the 24-hour Le Mans race. It was created by the company of James Glickenhaus – a famous car collector and the customer of the famous Ferrari P4/5 supercar. They also created the high-speed coupe SCG 003.
The Glickenhaus 007S is equipped with a turbocharged V8 engine with a power output of 1400 horsepower. At the same time, the carbon coupe weighs only 1268 kg and features very advanced aerodynamics.
The creators announce that the car will not only set a new Nürburgring record, but also show a lap time of less than 6 minutes. For reference, the current record holder among production cars, the Mercedes-AMG GT R Black Series, clocked in at 6 minutes and 43.6 seconds.
A total of 24 such cars will be produced, each costing 2.3 million dollars. This is the amount required for the racing version to qualify for Le Mans.
