by The Kia EV6 electric car has finally been officially unveiled. Its first photos have been shown a long time ago, and now the specifications are also known. Moreover, the crossover has something to surprise with.
Let’s start with the most interesting – the top Kia EV6 GT received two motors with a total power of 585 hp and all-wheel drive. It accelerates to a hundred in 3.5 seconds and reaches 260 km/h – these are figures at the level of the top Tesla Model Y Performance or Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo 4S.
Of course, there are simpler modifications – with one motor (170 and 225 hp) and two motors (235 and 325 hp). Moreover, even the 325 hp variant can accelerate to 100 km/h in 5.2 seconds and travel 510 km without recharging (the 585 hp EV6 has a range of 405 km).
The new Kia EV6 is a crossover with a very dynamic streamlined design. The car measures 4680 mm in length, 1880 mm in width, and 1550 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2900 mm.
Inside the cabin on the front panel, there are two 12-inch displays side by side – a virtual instrument cluster and a multimedia touchscreen. There is also a head-up display with augmented reality. The Kia EV6 GT features sport seats and alcantara trim. The trunk volume is 520-1300 liters, and there is also a 52-liter front compartment.
