The new Toyota Land Cruiser 2022 retained its frame structure and is comparable in size to its predecessor – 4985 mm in length, 1980 mm in width, and 1945 mm in height with a wheelbase of 2850 mm. At the same time, the weight has been reduced by 200 kg.
The appearance remains familiar, and the Land Cruiser is immediately recognizable. The grille has become larger, while the LED headlights are narrower. The off-road version is distinguished by a different front end, a sloped front bumper, and 18-inch mud tires.

Surprisingly, the traditional analog dials have remained in the cabin. However, there is a new enlarged 12.3-inch touchscreen and a fingerprint scanner.
The basic package of the Toyota Land Cruiser 2022 includes 360-degree cameras (one of them is underneath), adaptive cruise control, and lane-keeping assist. More expensive versions have 20-inch wheels, four-zone climate control, a head-up display, wireless smartphone charging, and a pair of 11.6-inch monitors for rear passengers.

The new Toyota Land Cruiser currently does not come with a V8 – it will be available only in a high-performance version, with power expected to exceed 500 hp. Initially, the SUV will be offered with a 3.5-liter 415 hp V6 twin-turbo from the Lexus LS and a new 3.3-liter 306 hp turbodiesel. The gasoline version accelerates to 100 km/h in 6.7 seconds.
There will also be a hybrid Toyota Land Cruiser 300 with a 3.5-liter 299 hp V6 and an electric motor with 180 hp. All versions received a 10-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive with a low-range transfer case and three lockable differentials.
The ground clearance of the Toyota Land Cruiser reaches 230 mm. It also includes a mode selection system for different types of terrain, disconnectable KDSS stabilizers, and an off-road cruise control system called Crawl Control. Adaptive shock absorbers are also offered for an additional fee.
