Judging by the images, the new Toyota Land Cruiser 2021 will not change radically and will retain the familiar design. It was previously known that the frame SUV will become slightly larger – 4970 mm in length, 1985 mm in width, and 1870 mm in height with a wheelbase of 2970 mm.
The interior images show a virtual dashboard and a large 12-inch touchscreen. However, spy photos of the interior showed that the base version will have regular instrument dials. Among the options for the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 will be a fingerprint scanner, rear seat ventilation, and an electric tailgate.
It is reported that initially, versions with two V6 engines will be offered – a 4.0-liter naturally aspirated with 282 hp and a 3.5-liter turbocharged with 420 hp (from Lexus LS). In 2022, a 3.3-liter 309 hp turbodiesel and a hybrid unit with a 3.5-liter 299 hp V6 and a 180 hp electric motor will be added. Later, a high-performance Toyota Land Cruiser GR-S with a twin-turbo V8 may also appear.
