The New Volkswagen T-Roc: First Look Before the Official Presentation

Updated Volkswagen T-Roc: What is Known About the New Model

The second generation of the Volkswagen T-Roc will debut very soon, but the first images of the model have already appeared online. The crossover has received an updated design that has become more refined and premium. The front features slim headlights connected by an LED light strip, as well as a massive honeycomb radiator grille with boomerang-shaped decorative elements.

The car’s side profile has become more streamlined, with a reduced amount of plastic cladding. Other details include a contrasting black roof, aerodynamic wheels, and stylish pillars. The rear is equipped with an LED light strip, similar to the one installed on new Volkswagen models such as the Tiguan.

Interior and Technical Features

The T-Roc’s interior has become more modern and minimalist. Drivers get an updated steering wheel, a digital instrument cluster, and a large touchscreen for the multimedia system, similar to those used in the electric ID.Buzz and ID.7 models.

The model is expected to debut at the auto show in Munich and will be built on the MQB Evo platform, which is also used in the new Golf.

Technical details have not been disclosed yet, but the T-Roc is likely to inherit a range of powertrains from the Golf. Full information about the model is expected to be released next month. The updated crossover could become even more popular among buyers looking for a stylish and technological car in the compact segment.
