Iconic 25-Year-Old McLaren F1 with No Mileage Discovered

In the USA, the legendary 1995 McLaren F1 supercar was put up for auction by Gooding and Company. The lot is very interesting because the car is virtually without mileage, and therefore it is expected to fetch at least 15 million dollars.

In a quarter of a century, the McLaren F1 has driven only 387 km and has been preserved like new. Initially, a Japanese buyer ordered the supercar, but hardly drove it. Then the McLaren supercar was sold to America, but the new owner did not really drive it either.

The car is finished in an exclusive brown color, and the interior is trimmed with coffee-colored leather. The McLaren F1 comes with a set of branded luggage and titanium tools.

Let us recall that the McLaren F1 supercar held the title of the fastest production car in the world for more than ten years. This coupe with a 6.1-liter 627-horsepower BMW V12 can accelerate to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds and reach 386 km/h.

Among the features of the McLaren F1 are a three-seat interior with the driver in the center and ground effect technology that adheres the car to the road. And the engine compartment is trimmed with gold for better heat dissipation.
