Today, the cost of the new Kia Sportage, which has repeatedly (and for many years) earned the title of the most popular crossover in Ukraine, has been revealed. Moreover, in some months, the Kia Sportage even received the title of the best-selling passenger car.
It is worth noting that in addition to the Sportage, the TOP-3 most popular SUV-class cars in the Ukrainian market include the Renault Duster and Toyota RAV4. But it is the Korean crossover that more often became the sales leader.
Kia Sportage 2022 model year enters the Ukrainian market with one engine (so far). It is a 2-liter gasoline engine with 156 horsepower. Transmission – 6-speed (choice of manual or automatic). Drive – front or all-wheel (only with an “automatic”).
Prices and Configurations of Kia Sportage in Ukraine
The starting price of the new Kia Sportage is 644,974 UAH.
Already in the base model, the newcomer has:

- Heated seats
- Heated steering wheel
- Rearview camera
- Automatic braking system
- Lane control system
In fact, it’s quite decent for a base configuration. As for more expensive versions, in the second configuration, Prestige (price – from 728,926 UAH), the above list adds:

- Parking sensors
- Rain sensor
Next comes the version Luxury Luxury (price – from 899,068 UAH), which, in addition to all the above-mentioned, also includes:
- Power adjustment of front seats
- Power windows with safety function (pinch prevention) – we do not fully understand this wording (some nonsense), but that’s exactly how it’s indicated on Kia’s site (in the two previous versions, it is simply indicated as “front and rear power windows”)
- Wireless phone charging
- 12.3-inch digital instrument panel with integrated Supervision cluster
- Leather trim on the steering wheel and gear lever
- Sill guards
- “Black Gloss” console
- Combined interior (fabric + leatherette)
The top configuration – GT Line – is priced at 1,046,860 UAH. For this amount, you can purchase a Kia crossover with such benefits of modern civilization as:

It should be noted that a day earlier, Nissan in Ukraine announced prices for the new Qashqai 2022, which is a direct competitor to the Kia Sportage.
