Most people associate the Porsche brand with sports cars and luxurious 4-seater vehicles. But it seems the Germans have decided to try a completely new segment for themselves. Judging by the first photos of the novelty, it will resemble a SMART, with the driver in the middle and two passengers behind him.
The strangest Porsche in the brand’s history is named Unseen. The chubby car resembles either an inflated small hatchback or a compact minivan.
The Germans call it the single-volume vehicle of the future with a driver’s seat at the center.
Porsche claims that due to this layout, the driver’s seat takes up almost no space, and the rear row offers much more room than it might seem from the outside. Currently, there are no other details about the Porsche Unseen.
It must be said that this is not Porsche’s first strange and bold project. In the 1980s, the Germans produced 15 ‘racing’ vans based on the Volkswagen T25 with an engine from the 911 Carrera S, which allowed the van to reach 100 km/h in 6 seconds!
As for the new concept car, there is no doubt that if it goes into production, it will be electric.
