A variant of the full rewrite of the title in English: Brabus turns Mercedes cars into real monsters, and now takes on yachts

Brabus expands horizons: new partnership with AB Yachts

Brabus, a company known for its tuned cars, has decided to go beyond the automotive world. They have already worked on boats and even elite real estate projects. Now, they have announced a strategic partnership with the shipyard AB Yachts, the result of which will be the creation of the world’s first Brabus yacht.

The premiere of this vessel is scheduled for September this year at the Monaco Yacht Show. Next year, another new product will be shown at the same event.

What is known about the new yacht

So far, details about the future model are scarce. Brabus stated that it will combine “two different worlds of performance, innovation, and design, transforming the DNA of a luxury brand and the Brabus Masterpiece philosophy into a new yachting experience.” It is expected that buyers will receive “the highest level of stylish elegance, confident high performance, and attention to detail.”

The companies have published a dark teaser image showing a streamlined yacht with a sloping roof and large glazing. Smooth body lines, a relatively short aft deck, and a small bathing platform are also visible.

Technical features and context

Other details about the Brabus version remain a mystery for now. However, the parent company AB Yachts notes that it builds “yachts with waterjet engines for smooth, quiet operation without vibrations at speeds exceeding 50 knots (58 mph).” The shipyard’s lineup includes vessels ranging from 25.4 meters (AB 80) to 39.65 meters (AB 130). The latter can accommodate up to 12 guests and five crew members.

Brabus CEO Constantin Buschmann noted:

Continuing the Brabus Marine journey together with our partners AXOPAR and Sunreef Yachts, this collaboration opens up a completely new dimension for us – combining our design, love for bold solutions, individuality, and details with the incredible experience of AB Yachts.

This is not Brabus’s first venture into maritime affairs: the company has previously collaborated with Axopar and Sunreef Yachts. Thus, the new project with AB Yachts will be a logical continuation of their expansion into the world of luxury yachting, where speed, style, and individuality are key values. Given AB Yachts’ reputation as a manufacturer of high-speed vessels, one can expect that the joint model will be not just a floating showcase for the brand, but a true technological and design breakthrough in its segment.
